Hesion has been marketing for several months the Supervision associated with the Sensoparc® system. In the coming months, many new features will be available. But before looking at the new features, let’s take a look at the operating principles of this Supervision that will help you in the daily operation of your parking lot. Is it easy to install and use? What data is collected? And how is it collected? These are some questions we will answer in this article.
Parking Supervision: what is it for?
Our field equipment is at the heart of your parking lot, and, because of their operation, they generate a lot of data. Before Supervision, these data were accessible in a very limited way (directly on the equipment). Today they are accessible directly on a web page via an ergonomic and design interface. You can supervise your parking lot at a glance from your computer.
This Supervision is one more step towards the intelligent parking lot of tomorrow. The Hesion teams are working daily to bring you more and more features and services.
The image below shows a view of the data, in real time, of a Sensoparc®:
Installation and first start
The installation of the Supervision in the case of an update of an existing site or a new parking lot is very simple. The Supervision is presented as a complementary module to our field equipment. It is installed next to the Sensoparc® central unit. They must then be connected together so that the data can be exchanged.
At the first start-up, the Supervision will automatically detect the central unit.
Sensoparc® and all the configurations will be done without manual intervention.
Our teams will then configure the elements specific to the Supervision (user account, password, available tools).
Then you have to connect our Supervision to your internal network via a “RJ45” type cable.
And the installation is complete, in a few moments the system is fully functional and ready to use. You can then access the Supervision from your computer via your favorite web browser.
How the data collection works?
Throughout the life of the system, data will be collected and stocked. These data are collected every 30 seconds, via a “Modbus” protocol.
Within the framework of Sensoparc®, the data collected are:
- concentration of each detector,
- faults and status of the detectors, zones, and the central unit,
- status of connection with the central unit,
- Internal data for the operation of the system.
These data are then available in real time, via your dashboards, as shown in the image below:
Moreover, since all the data is stored, it is also possible to consult the history of your installation using the reports page, as shown in the following image:
These reports allow you to monitor your installation, analyze the data and take preventive and curative actions accordingly.
