Discovering smart car parks.

 

After a first video peak on Smart City parkings, Geoffrey Garnier, our Parking Technologist, takes us on a discovery of so-called “eco-responsible” parking.

 

Ecology is a very important shift to take, and ecological parking lots will become the trend in the very near future; users will prefer them. And parking can be compatible with ecology.

For example, you can deploy charging stations for electric vehicles, a bicycle shelter, rainwater retention basins and even educational stations to raise public awareness of ecological issues.

Technological solutions also reduce the impact on the environment:

  • find out, indicate and display available places to reduce the time spent in the aisles,
  • accelerate and optimize entering and exiting a parking lot to avoid traffic congestion,
  • delete and replace the ticket with digital formats.
